Last August 1, 2009, Operation Big Brother Foundation of the University of the Philippines’ Beta Sigma Fraternity Baguio Chapter sponsored and hosted a party for special children of A Child’s DREAM (Developmental Rehabilitative Early Assessment & Management) Foundation, Inc., Baguio’s first pediatric therapy center for special children at the Lions Club International Foundation Clubhouse, complete with presents, lunch and merienda.
Activities included storytelling, dancing, educational video programs, and other interactive socializing games.
As they coordinated the entire party from beginning to end, the young men impressed all adults present with their enthusiasm and huge hearts. Their final gift to all the children, educational & art materials and sports equipment, were much enjoyed.
Sincere thanks to both the UP Beta Sigma Fraternity, the Operation Big Brother Foundation and the Baguio Pines City Lions Club. These experiences for the children and for everyone involved are indeed priceless.
